Absolutely everything on Nantucket Pizza Bakery’s menu is made from scratch using the finest ingredients. As their witty tagline boasts,\u00a0“Buy from us, we knead the dough.” And that is the truth. Adding a tagline to your logo<\/a> such as what Nantucket Pizza Bakery did can help users better identify your brand and what type of atmosphere your store offers customers.<\/p>\n

Creating a logo for a pizza restaurant<\/h2>\n

Nantucket Pizza Bakery wanted a modern yet fun logo design<\/a>. They opted with a Sans Serif style font with capitalized lettering. The font is square and therefore easy to read. They also opted for a bold red color that reminds us of pizza sauce! The icon — which sits behind the business name — is a geometric swirl that reminds us of someone twirling a pizza in the air. While most pizza joints will create a logo using a pizza icon, Nantucket Pizza Bakery decided to make their\u00a0restaurant logo<\/a> more abstract.<\/p>\n

How to be a successful business owner<\/h3>\n

We asked Denise, a founder of the company, how the business was started? She tells us it all started right out of her kitchen.<\/p>\n

“We\u00a0have always loved to bake so we started testing recipes in our home-based commercial kitchen and voila… we think we have developed the most delicious New York style pizza dough and sweet baked goods on the island. This business is soon to be a dream fulfilled after a long corporate business career.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“Begin with the dream that’s in your heart and from there, develop your brand. Always clearly know who you are and build everything starting from that place\u2014the top\u00a0down.
