Superheroes.<\/p>\n<p>The rest of us? Well&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re not inventors like&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.logomaker.com\/blog\/2013\/03\/04\/14-quotes-for-small-business-from-inventor-james-dyson\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(Opens a new window)\" rel=\"noopener\">James Dyson<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.logomaker.com\/blog\/2012\/03\/12\/small-business-quote-of-the-week\u2014sara-blakely\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(Opens a new window)\" rel=\"noopener\">Sara Blakely<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re not savvy marketers like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.logomaker.com\/blog\/2013\/02\/25\/10-quotes-for-small-business-from-nike-founder-phil-knight\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(Opens a new window)\" rel=\"noopener\">Phil Knight<\/a>&nbsp;and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.logomaker.com\/blog\/2013\/02\/11\/8-quotes-for-small-business-from-martha-stewart\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(Opens a new window)\" rel=\"noopener\">Martha Stewart<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re not tech geniuses like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.logomaker.com\/blog\/2013\/01\/14\/7-quotes-from-sergey-brin-on-small-business-problem-solving-and-more\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(Opens a new window)\" rel=\"noopener\">Sergey Brin<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.logomaker.com\/blog\/2012\/10\/01\/11-quotes-from-michael-dell-on-entrepreneurship-and-success\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(Opens a new window)\" rel=\"noopener\">Michael Dell<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And we&#8217;re not artists like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.logomaker.com\/blog\/2013\/01\/28\/10-quotes-for-small-business-owners-from-vincent-van-gogh-on-passion-and-work\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(Opens a new window)\" rel=\"noopener\">Van Gogh<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.logomaker.com\/blog\/2013\/01\/07\/11-quotes-about-creativity-by-pablo-picasso\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(Opens a new window)\" rel=\"noopener\">Picasso<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re just normal people without capes, tights, or secret hideouts.<\/p>\n<p>We celebrate people like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.logomaker.com\/blog\/2011\/09\/26\/entrepreneur-quote-of-the-day-ii\/\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"(Opens a new window)\" rel=\"noopener\">Steve Jobs<\/a> and Jack Welch as if they are super heroes, blessed with amazing powers, meant to succeed from day one. Even when they fail.<\/p>\n<p>What chance do the rest of us have?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-4864\" src=\"https:\/\/startwp.logomaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/ED-AR435_PNS110_NS_20131104173702.jpg\" alt=\"You can only do so much\" width=\"303\" height=\"353\"><\/p>\n<p>There are 23 small businesses in the USA, another 480,000 small businesses in Australia, plus almost 5 million in the United Kingdom. And there are millions more around the world. All of them run by perfectly normal people without super powers.<\/p>\n<p>None of these millions of small business owners will ever be featured in <em>INC Magazine<\/em> or <em>The Wall Street Journal<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Most of these small businesses will never be billion dollar companies or even million dollar companies.<\/p>\n<p>Most of these owners don&#8217;t have MBAs, venture funding, great programming skills, or any other single qualification to succeed in business.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do they have?
